Traditionally, the relationship between art and the space around it is one of stoic neutrality, wherein art exists without the participation of its adjoining environs. Rethinking this sterile outlook, we wanted to explore the vital connection between the two, and their inherent interrelationship.

A result of this exploration, ‘Pixela’ is best described as a collage of the space around it. The array of circular, reflective and adjustable discs act as a dynamic canvas, offering endless possibilities of mapping the surroundings. The artwork responds to the space around it, creating an immersive melange of movement and light, in an inherently bespoke and continually unique experience.
